Material description Vibrofix PU
At the heart of the Vibrofix PU mount is durable galvanized steel (1.5 mm). Elastic element: Sylomer material (Getzner Werkstoffe, Austria), designed for vibration protection of buildings and individual premises (depending on the selected object for vibration isolation).
Scope of Vibrofix PU
Vibrofix PU fasteners are used in practice in the construction of residential and public buildings for the installation of frame structures of soundproof suspended ceilings in rooms that require an acoustically comfortable environment.

Vibrofix PU mounting technology
When installing a KNAUF suspended ceiling using Vibrofix PU soundproofing fasteners, the allowable distance between the hangers is selected according to the KNAUF Engineering Solutions Album Series 1.045.9-2.00 and the detailed sheet "Knauf Soundproofing Systems". At the same time, for effective sound insulation, the load on each fastener should not exceed the range of working loads indicated in the table.
Vibrofix PU must be attached to the ceiling slab in the room with metal anchors. The suspended ceiling frame is fixed with a U-shaped bracket or with adjustable hangers on the knitting needles.
To increase the efficiency of soundproofing a suspended ceiling, it is recommended to fill the frame structure with acoustic mineral wool AcousticWool. In order to eliminate indirect ways of noise transmission, the functional elements of the frame and KNAUF gypsum plasterboards must adjoin the side surfaces of the walls through elastic gaskets.
