Frankly speaking, the box in the bathroom, no matter how small it is, creates continuous problems and inconveniences - this is an unused usable area, and a secluded place in which dampness accumulates and mold grows, as well as many other unpleasant moments. In general, a box in the bathroom is not a good solution, which is better to refuse if possible. But since all circumstances lead to the fact that the box should be, it is best for him to be not in drywall, but in plastic. Why? There are many reasons for this.

1. Pipes. Whatever they are and no matter how well they are insulated, condensation still cannot be avoided. What this natural phenomenon entails, many know firsthand - this is mold and fungus combined.
2. The drywall itself. Interacting with moisture, it is deformed, and then collapses. Of course, this process is lengthy, but, nevertheless, it cannot be avoided.

3. By making a drywall box in the bathroom, you deprive yourself of access to communications, which you can’t do without in the event of an accident.

In general, there are enough reasons to refuse to manufacture it, but oddly enough, exactly the same arguments can be formulated in favor of the box.

1. A drywall box allows you to sew up pipes to match the rest of the room.
2. Unlike plastic, drywall is rigid enough to secure anything with a not very high mass to it.
3. And among other things, it is drywall that allows you to finish the box in almost any way - in this respect, plastic loses.

• stationary. Non-separable boxes can be installed on gas pipes, which are practically not subject to depressurization. If such structures are used for water pipes, then it is required to provide special openings to monitor their condition.

All boxes can be made independently or purchased at the store. Finished boxes differ in types, sizes and materials used for manufacturing. However, finished structures may not meet all the wishes of the user, so it is recommended to close the pipes on your own.
