Viadrus - boiler Viadrus

Design features of Viadrus devices

Structurally solid fuel boilers Viadrus consist of the following elements:

  • A high draft chimney equipped with special valves that regulate the amount of long-term combustion products leaving the appliance.
  • 2. The body of a solid fuel unit, which is made up of sections interconnected by boiler nipples and anchor bolts. The size of the sections is universal, and the number, depending on the model, ranges from 2 to 10. It is the number of sections in the design that affects the power level of Viadrus solid fuel boilers. The size of the fuel bookmark in the device also depends on the number of sections. In particular, in the technical specifications for each model of the Viadrus brand there is an indication of the maximum size of firewood (length) or the weight of coal. The sections form a combustion chamber and an ash pan. At the same time, in the upper part of the rearmost section of the unit there is an exhaust pipe, and in the lower part there is a water inlet pipe. Doors for loading fuel (wood, coal) and an ash pan are attached to the front. In Viadrus solid fuel boilers, the upper part of the sections, located above the level of the loading door, have ledges that become a kind of labyrinth. Planks "drive" the flame and combustion products, increasing the release of heat.
  • Systems for adjusting the air supply and the output of combustion products. There is a hole (muffler) in the ash pan door through which air is supplied to the combustion chamber. The muffler is controlled automatically, using a draft regulator, or manually using an adjusting screw. On the loading door, in turn, there is a hole (rose), which is designed for secondary air supply to the combustion chamber, where firewood slowly smolders. That is, in fact, it duplicates or complements the muffler. Also in the lower part of the exhaust pipe there is a special damper designed to clean the combustion products that have settled in the gas collector and chimney.
  • Control panel (thermomanometer), which looks like a small add-on on top of the device. With its help, the power level of the wood-burning boiler is controlled.
  • Heating units are also equipped with a cast-iron stand, as the weight of some models is very large. The entire body of the wood-burning appliance is insulated with harmless mineral wool, the task of which is to minimize heat loss. The design of the Viadrus solid fuel boiler is in a steel shell coated with high quality comaxite paint. In the heating equipment market, Viadrus solid fuel boilers are especially recognizable due to their rectangular shapes and colors: red body and black doors.
