All GazLux gas boilers are double-circuit devices. They can operate at sufficiently low temperatures, withstanding pressure drops of up to 25 mbar. The latest modifications provide for the connection of heating to the “warm floor” structures.

The heating equipment GazLux "Economy" is controlled by rotary knobs, which set the required parameters for the temperature of hot water. They also set the air temperature. Models of this class are available with both open and closed combustion chambers.

Heat exchangers are available in two versions:

The main causes and malfunctions of gas boilers

The typical thermal scheme for various gas-fired boilers is almost the same, the main elements of the thermal scheme include a boiler with a furnace and heaters for hot water, one boiler for single-circuit boilers for heating systems and two for double-circuit ones. A burner and chimneys connected to a chimney are located along the gas path.

If the boilers operate with forced circulation of flue gases, as in closed furnaces, then an additional exhaust fan or fan is installed to supply air to the furnace and create a gas-air mixture. Gas boilers GAZLUX (Gazklyuks) is a Russian development of heating equipment, which is manufactured in China. The model range is represented by three series: Economy, Standard and Premium. According to the principle device, the versions of the boilers are limited to double-circuit models with a bithermic heat exchanger, an open and a closed combustion chamber. The boilers are designed to work in closed heating systems with forced circulation of the coolant by a circulation pump and a pressure limit of 3 bar.

The layout of GAZLUX heating equipment is contained in the full name of the model. In the Gazlux Economy series, control is carried out by rotary mechanical knobs, and the diagnostic system shows errors using LED indicators. The GAZLUX Standard series is already equipped with a liquid crystal display and push-button control, as well as the ability to program the boiler operating modes. The Premium series provides maximum opportunities - a color LCD display with error codes, boiler status display and programming.

Modern gas boilers are very practical and thoughtful units, they have absorbed the best experience of the past decades, combined with the latest developments in the field of boiler materials, control and protection automation. In order to prevent scale formation, water purification filters are installed at the inlet to the boiler.
  2. circulation pumps. According to the new operating rules, the gas boiler unit operates on a closed heating system, which increases the efficiency of space heating and the possibility of automatic control of thermal conditions. Repair of pumps is usually caused by the presence of damage in the mechanical and electrical parts of the structure.
  3. The heating circuit temperature sensor outputs a parameter that is the main one in the automatic mode control system, in connection with which the boiler is turned on / off, its malfunction may be in the contact group or caused by a break in the communication line.
  4. Gas burner - the main device of the boiler, which burns fuel to produce thermal energy. The repair of this device consists in cleaning the nozzles.
  5. An expansion tank is a unit that compensates for the excess pressure of the medium that occurs during the heating process. The repair is carried out by replacing the elastic membranes.

Most of the parts and assemblies for repairing the boiler are in the distribution network, they are also easy to find on the Internet, but if the boiler is under warranty, it is recommended to purchase them through service centers, which will guarantee not only high-quality repairs, but also its durability.

The device of any modern gas boiler must have a control unit - an electronic board that is responsible for the process of starting and stopping the boiler and fully controls the process of its operation. Also, the second important function of the board is to protect the device in case of emergency situations and malfunctions.

Error E4. The lower indicator lights up red, the fourth power LED lights up from the top. Signal from the safety thermostat installed downstream from the primary heat exchanger. Error E6. The lower indicator is lit red, the first and fifth power LEDs are lit on top.
The control unit does not detect the presence of a flame on the burner. To prevent explosive situations, the boiler automation constantly monitors the presence of a flame through a special electrode (also called an ionization electrode). When a combustion flame is present, the board registers a small current through the electrode, if this does not happen, the boiler turns off by mistake. Why this might happen:

there is no normal gas supply (the reasons may be different: low pressure in the gas line, clogging of the burner cavities, contamination of gas filters, malfunction of the gas valve)

the ignition system is faulty (circuit breakage on the control board)

malfunction of the ionization electrode (contamination, short circuit to the case)

Error E7 (Eb). The lower indicator is lit red, the second and fifth power LEDs are lit on top.
Similar to the previous error.

The lower indicator lights red, the upper power LEDs flash in sequence. The electronic board registers combustion after closing the gas valve. This means that either the gas valve does not fulfill its function (the gas does not completely shut off - there is a leak), or the boiler electronic board is faulty.

In boilers of different years of manufacture, different devices were used to control the coolant. In boilers up to 09/2007 of the economy and standard series, reed sensors were used (closing of the sensor contacts when the coolant circulates at a speed of more than 4 liters per minute).Since 09/2007, differential pressure sensors have been used. The boilers of the Premium series use pressure sensors to measure its value quantitatively and display it.   • A01, signals problems in the ignition system after 5 consecutive attempts to ignite the boiler;

  • E 01, triggering of the flame control sensor itself or its breakdown;
  • E 04, short-term loss of flame on the burner;
  • E 035, the presence of a flame before opening the gas cock or the remains of a flame after turning off the burner;
  • E 10, violation of the circulation of the coolant, pressure reduction in the heating system;
  • E 96 - e 99, Baxi boiler errors associated with malfunctions in the electronic board.

Navien boiler errors

Navien boiler error codes help determine the troubleshooting algorithm. For example:

  • 02E, violation of normal circulation in the heating system;
  • 03E, no flame signal;
  • 12E, the flame went out;
  • 14E, no normal gas supply pressure gas.

Vaillant boiler errors

  • F22, insufficient pressure in heating systems;

  • A01, no flame or ignition problem;

  • F04, thermostat overheating or malfunction. Sometimes the problem is solved by rebooting the boiler;
  • F05, no fan connected in the system. Disconnect and reconnect it.

Errors F00, F01, F10, F11 at the Proterm boiler indicate a failure of the temperature sensor. It is not always necessary to replace it, sometimes a more thorough diagnosis and flushing of the boiler helps. F20 indicates overheating of the boiler, long-term operation without inspection is not desirable. F24 the boiler is clogged.

  • Error E1, malfunction of the boiler fan. Either it is out of order, or there is a problem with smoke removal;

DUOTHERM is a two-pass hot water fire tube boiler with a reversible furnace. For models 80 - 500 kW, the flame tube is structurally shifted down, the fire tubes are located in the upper segment above the flame tube. The entire combustion chamber is supported by fully water-washed anchors.
For models 501 - 6700 kW, the flame tube is located centrally, the fire tubes are located around the flame tube. The combustion chamber is supported by water-washed anchors.

To intensify the heat transfer process and obtain the required efficiency, turbulators are installed in the fire tubes.

The body of the boiler is insulated and sheathed with a decorative sheet.

From the front of the boiler there is a rotary chamber, on which the burner is installed. The design of the chamber allows it to be opened to either side of the boiler.
To ensure the gas tightness of the connection of the rotary chamber and the boiler body, a double tooth-groove connection with a sealing cord is used. To ensure the standard temperature of the outer surface, the rotary chamber is insulated with high-temperature-resistant heat-insulating materials using modern technologies.

A gas box is installed from the rear of the boiler. For the possibility of inspection and, if necessary, cleaning, a rectangular hatch is provided on the gas box.

Connection pipes to the supply and return lines are located on the top of the boiler, pipes are also provided for the installation of safety valves.

In the lower part of the boiler, a purge and drainage pipe is provided.

Error codes and malfunctions

In case of any malfunction in the operation of the boiler, the user must first look at the instructions. Most errors are listed by the manufacturer. It's just not always clear how to fix them. We recommend restarting the equipment immediately:

  • Press the restart key;
  • Wait for the boiler to restart;
  • Make sure the characters have disappeared from the screen.

  • Make sure the integrity of the wiring, the tightness of the contacts of the sensors and the control board.
A03 Overheating technology. Boiler operation is blocked. The temperature is over 90 degrees.

The thermostat has tripped. First of all check it for serviceability. Drain excess air from the system using Mayevsky taps.

  • circulation pump. If it is faulty, replace or adjust the settings. Clean the impeller blades from blockage;
  • If the error is displayed again, repair the electronic module.

A08/F10
The heating circuit temperature sensor is out of order.

Incorrect operation of the gas removal system.

How to fix the situation:

  • Inspect the heat exchanger for scale. Clean the tubes of deposits with reagents or citric acid. A layer of scale on the radiator interferes with water circulation, worsens heating, from which the unit overheats;
  • Bleed air from the pump. Set the appropriate mode. Install a new pump if it breaks.

F50
The electronic board is not working.
Checking grounding, boards for breakdown. It is better to entrust repair and replacement of the control module to a specialist.

Unfortunately, not all malfunctions of Koreastar heating equipment are displayed as a code on the display. Users complain that the devices are sensitive to voltage drops, which is why the control board often suffers. And this is despite the manufacturer's assurances of stable operation at any jumps.
