aeration fields

Story

aeration fields

Plan of the Lyubertsy irrigation fields in 1927

The fields were built in 1907-1912 as part of the second stage project. Wastewater was supplied to the fields from the Main Pumping Station through the Zagorodny Lyubertsy Canal.

After the construction of modern sewage treatment plants in the 1960s, the use of the fields gradually ceased.

Building

The area began to be built up in 2008, in parallel with the work on the restoration of territories on the site of former aeration fields. As of 2011, it was planned to build housing with a total area of 4 million square meters and organize 18,000 new jobs on an area of about 500 hectares. To determine the directions of urban development of the territory of the sludge sites of the Lyuberetsk aeration station, the "Urban planning concept for the development of the territory of the sludge sites of the Lyubertsy aeration station" was developed, taking into account the adjacent territories of Moscow and the Moscow region.

Transfer to Moscow

In June 2011, an agreement was signed on the border between Moscow and the Moscow region, later approved by the regional parliaments. According to this decree, in particular, a plot of 578.9 area (Lyubertsy fields) was transferred to Moscow from the composition. The border change was approved. On September 28, 2011, she adopted changes to the laws of the city of Moscow, according to which the Lyubertsy aeration fields were attached to the district.

What is meant by filter field

General information

The filtration field cannot be used without the septic tank itself, it performs the work of cleaning wastewater from the initial large particles of wastewater. The dispersion field is intended for post-treatment of the liquid that has passed through the septic tank.

Wastewater treatment begins in a special container in which they are divided into different states. Waste of mineral origin forms a sediment, fatty waste covers the surface of wastewater with a film. In the absence of ventilation, some elements of sewage decompose under the influence of bacteria of anaerobic origin. Further, the water enters the compartment with a ventilation system, where microorganisms of aerobic origin come to the aid of processing. They process waste into sludge, which is suitable as fertilizer. After such cleaning, a liquid remains in the septic tank, which is still harmful in its composition.

Then it is processed into water for technical needs, or it goes through a post-treatment process and ends up in the ground.

Multi-level sewage treatment minimizes the use of sewage services, and saves the surrounding soil from pollution.

When is it necessary to build filtration fields? Structures built for post-treatment of wastewater work at the expense of aerobic microorganisms, and also depend on the looseness of the soil.

It is necessary to build such fields:

  • 1. In case of underground water flow deeper than one and a half meters, the condition of the ground cover can be ignored.
  • 2.when the functioning of the existing fields does not cope with the task, or the existing trenches do not have time to perform drainage functions.

aeration fieldsWhat does PF look like? The field is built on a large area, where drains are laid, which perform the functions of the second cleaning. Post-cleaning in this way is economical, cleaning does not imply the purchase of special devices.

The field itself represents pipes that are parallel to each other. Pipe laying starts from the drive, filled with sand or gravel.

Today, a practical version of plastic pipes is used.

The cleaning device must distribute the effluents along the grooves and guarantee almost one hundred percent filtration, so it is necessary to take into account the construction nuances of the design.

PF components

The clearing construction of the field contains such elements as:

  • 1. Control and distribution wells, forming a single collector for wastewater.
  • 2.Plastic pipes with holes.
  • 3.Ventilation system.
  • 4.Filtration cushions.

The filter pad contains pebbles or sand. To protect against soil, the pipes are covered with geotextiles.

If you build a post-treatment system with your own hands, you can use a ready-made plastic collector device by choosing the appropriate size.
