Construction with pallet first stage
Do-it-yourself installation of a shower enclosure with a pallet begins with the following operations:
- Dismantling of old plumbing.
- Walls and corners are leveled, tiles are laid, time is waiting for it to solidify.
- Installation of sewer and water pipes leading to the shower enclosure is in progress.
- A pallet is selected for the design, a good option is acrylic with a corrugated surface. It is strong enough, safe and resistant to temperature extremes.
- Proper installation of the shower corner requires its fixation in a certain position. To prevent deflection of the structure, it is installed on special legs that are supplied in the kit. To prevent water leakage, the pallet is mounted in a tight ratio with the corner part of the wall.
- The tile is rubbed, the seams are treated with silicone to ensure sealing and counteract the formation of fungi and mold.
Arrangement of a corner without a pallet
Do-it-yourself installation of a shower enclosure begins with the arrangement of the screed. First you need to install the formwork. If you plan to subsequently finish the floor with tiles or other finishing elements, their thickness must also be taken into account.
The formwork structure is poured with concrete mortar. It must be remembered that there must be a slight slope (at least one and a half percent) from the beginning of the corner to the ladder. To ensure this moment, a certain portion of the mixture is smoothed over the extreme area, gradually moving towards the ladder. After the screed dries, you can start arranging a homemade pallet. There are two variations of its manufacture:
- monolithic construction;
- brick ledge.
In the second case, bricks are installed, plastering and finishing the entire workpiece. Then work is carried out on the construction of a shower cabin. For this, you can use a curtain frame or glass doors with a minimum thickness of 60 mm.
