Heating a house with an electric boiler has the following disadvantages:
- High cost of electricity.
- Constant power surges disable automation. As a result, rapid defrosting and damage to the entire heating structure.

- Manufacturer. It is better to consider products of famous brands. Concerns have an extensive network of service centers that will provide fast and high-quality repairs.
- Power. Before you go to the store, do not forget to correctly calculate it in accordance with the level of heat loss at home.
- Efficiency - not less than 95%. Electricity is the most expensive fuel, so performance must be maximized.
- Security group. Mandatory: limiting the temperature of the thermal carrier (up to +85 ºC), protection against overheating, dry running, pressure sensors and others.
- The number of contours. Single-circuit boilers should be used strictly for their intended purpose, and for hot water supply, purchase separate storage boilers or indirect heating.
- Optional equipment. A heat accumulator, a stabilizer must be included in the piping of a high-power boiler, and if electricity is often cut off in the area, then generators running on diesel or gasoline fuel. The risk of failure of the heating system is reduced to zero.
To paraphrase well-known authors, we can say that electric boilers are not a luxury, but a means of heating in the harsh Russian winter.
Heating boilers

- heated area;
- wall material;
- quality and availability of thermal insulation.
Mains voltage
We have two types of electric boilers for heating a house with a power supply of 380 and 220 volts. Smaller boilers are usually rated at 220 volts (single-phase connection), while larger boilers, about 12 kW and above, are rated at 380 volts (three-phase connection). Depending on where the boiler is located, it is divided into types:

Installation of an electric boiler
It is necessary to mount a wall-mounted heating electric boiler using anchor bolts or dowels.

Having mounted the boiler on site, it is necessary to connect it to the heating system using adapters and couplings, observing the tightness. Before connecting to the heating system, it is necessary to shut off the water with a ball valve or other shut-off valves.
After you have connected the electric boiler to the heating system, you need to start connecting the electrical wiring. It is mandatory to install an RCD and an automatic switch of the required ratings in order to protect the boiler from possible short circuits and leakage of power to the ground.
