HEATING FURNACE 51x89 cm
HOME IDEAS > FURNACE, FIREPLACE, GRILL PROJECTS
Heating stove 51x89 cm V. Bykova is the third of the family "simpletons". It refers to stoves of moderate heating with half-brick walls. Such furnaces, as a rule, slowly gain heat during combustion, but retain it for a long time after it is finished. This ensures the stability of the temperature in the heated room. This stove is rectangular in shape, which determines the simplicity of its masonry. In this regard, it can be recommended for self-production by beginner stove-makers. From the 5th to the 15th row, the stove is lined with refractory bricks. This assumes that it will be possible to use both firewood and peat, coal, coke, etc. as fuel. If for any reason you decide to lay down the stove completely from ordinary red brick, select the most even examples of it, without cracks and overburning. In the 1st, 5th and 6th rows, be sure to cut the bricks obliquely. If this is not done, then raking out the ash from the ash chamber will become very difficult for you. And since the depth of the firebox in this furnace is quite significant (75 cm), when burning coals and firebrands, you will have to rake onto the grate from the back wall of the firebox with a long poker. The furnace has dimensions of 510 x 890 x 2380 mm excluding the pipe. If your ceiling height is less than the specified size, you can remove rows 21-22 and 23-24 in pairs without disturbing the dressing of the seams. Each removed row reduces the oven height by approximately 70 mm. In this case, one should also take into account the distance from the upper plane of the furnace ceiling to the ceiling in terms of fire safety. In the basic version, the heat transfer of the furnace is 2200 kcal / h or 2560 watts.
