2.1.1. Inspection of equipment - carried out by a repair specialist in order to:
- Evaluation of the operating conditions of the equipment and the compliance of these conditions with the requirements given in the Passport for the Equipment.
- Preliminary assessment of the performance of individual components that do not have visible external damage, for example: free play of the motor shaft, free play of the contactor traverse (the coil is not melted), no beating of the fan impeller, no damage to the insulation of wires and cables of internal electrical installation, etc.
- Identification of components with obvious damage.
2.1.2. Control (continuity) of electrical circuits - is carried out on de-energized equipment by a repair specialist using control and measurement tools in order to check the serviceability and compliance with the electrical circuit diagram, both of the entire product and its individual parts (components).
2.1.3. Trial switching - is carried out by a repair specialist with the connection of equipment to a control and measuring stand (CMS) in order to:
- Evaluation of equipment health based on the readings of CIS.
- Identification of defective components.

2.1.4. Equipment run - is performed in cases where a malfunction occurs after a certain time of equipment operation and is associated with a non-recurring failure of a component, heating, poor contact, etc.
