- Electric jigsaw. The main purpose of the tool when installing interior doors is to open extras, platbands. It is used for processing places that are hard to reach for saws.
- Manual electric milling cutter (plus special milling cutters). The device is used for loop tie-ins and locking mechanism. They also remove a layer of wood from the door leaf and frame, make seats for the hinges.
Hand tools
For the installation of interior doors, a set is recommended that includes the following items:
- Pencil or marker. The rod should not be too hard, otherwise marks will remain on the lacquered coating of the door or trim, which will then be difficult to remove.
- Roulette. It is best to use a three or five-meter tape measure.
- Calipers. This device is needed to determine the depth lock structure mortises. They also apply markings for fittings and perform a number of additional works.
- Chisel. It is used for inserting door hinges and other fittings.
