With the help of plastic panels, you can easily close a pipe opening with your own hands or make a beautiful box - installing panels is one of the simplest types of work. For installation, they acquire durable wall types, the performance of work consists of the following steps:
- A crate is made from a wooden beam or a metal profile using a building level, while the guides on the floor and walls are attached to the dowels with screws using a perforator. Vertical racks are attached to them with long screws, with further installation of the frame, they can be screwed on an oblique or metal corners can be used.
- A crate is made, if there is a horizontal bar on the floor and ceiling, one horizontal bar in the middle of the structure is enough.
- Wall plastic withstands a plastic hatch, but if it is made of large metal, a window is made for it from a bar.
- Usually the panels are arranged vertically, during installation, a side profile is attached around the entire perimeter of the timber, after which the panels are inserted into it. The panels are fastened to the timber with small screws, nails, staples from a stapler or special metal plates.

Installation of a drywall box step by step instructions
To install a drywall box, you will need a puncher, metal shears or a grinder, a screwdriver, a building level, a paint knife with interchangeable blades, a tape measure and a pencil. Drywall is screwed to a metal profile; wooden bars can be used to save money.
Installation work is carried out in the following sequence:
- Marking is done with a pencil on the floor at a distance of about 30 mm. from the pipeline, cut out segments of the guide profile (PN) of the required length and screw them to the floor according to the markings with dowels; a puncher is used to drill holes.
Do the same with attaching the entire metal profile to the ceiling and walls.
- Racks are cut from the PN profile up to the ceiling, taking into account that two fastened segments are needed at the corner, they are installed at the corners and near the walls in guides fixed on the floor. Each vertical segment is alternately set vertically with a level, marks are made on the ceiling in the corners and near the walls.

- The segments of the guides of the PN are screwed to the ceiling according to the marks, similarly to mounting on the floor, inserted into the upper and lower guides of the vertical racks, leveled and screwed on top and bottom on small screws for the profile ("bugs").
- A horizontal crate is mounted from segments of the PS rack profile with a step of 600 mm, cutting them with scissors for metal or a grinder into segments of the required length and screwing them with “bugs”. At the location of the hatch, a window is made from vertically and horizontally located segments.
- Sheets of the desired size are cut out of drywall with a paint knife, screwed to the crate with a screwdriver.

Features of assembling a drywall box in the bathroom
Drywall box in do-it-yourself bathroom and toilet any home craftsman who is at least a little familiar with the construction tool can assemble.
The action plan will be:
first of all, remove the old coating from the walls;
- align the walls if necessary, if the curvature is small, this can be done by gluing drywall to tile adhesive;
- replace plumbing;
- install installation;
- make markup;
- assemble a box from profiles;
- cut and screw drywall;
- do the finishing.
The work is not as much as it might seem at first glance, and you can do it yourself in one day.

Access to pipes with valve cocks and water meters is made through hinged hatches.

If the pipes run in the corner of the toilet room or do not occupy the entire area of the wall, they are covered with a square plasterboard box. For its device, a metal profile is screwed to the floor, ceiling and walls along the perimeter of the structure, after which vertical guides are inserted into it. To install a door for access to plumbing fittings, a window is made of a metal profile, after which the entire structure is covered with drywall. Similarly, they act in situations where the water supply is located horizontally on the floor - guides are screwed onto the walls and floor, they make a crate and sheathe it with drywall.

One of the frequently encountered situations in the use of a multi-level box, when there is enough space in the sanitary unit, the length of the horizontal section is small, or the owners decided to save a little on chasing.
The method is often used if the horizontal plumbing is at the bottom. In this case, the vertical and horizontal pipelines are sheathed by fastening drywall to a metal profile crate.
Oblique false wall
With a certain arrangement of pipelines, in order to save space or materials, not a square design is made, but oblique. For the installation of false walls, profiles are fastened to the floor, ceiling and walls, a horizontal frame is made, after which the profile structure is sheathed with drywall.

In walls made of drywall or plastic, there is always the possibility of installing a door. For plastic, the solution to the issue of placing the hatch does not cause problems - in the vast majority of cases, a plastic door is placed in the right place, while it is easy to find a model of any suitable size on the market.
If the drywall is tiled, then there are various options for mounting the hatch:
- The easiest option is to install a plastic or metal hatch with hinged doors.
- Many hide the opening by buying special hatches, on the doors of which tiles can be glued. In this case, the hatch is purchased in advance, when installing drywall, an opening is left for it, and the tiles are laid out in such a way as to combine the wall and glued on the hatch at the seams.
- Ready-made hatches for tiles are quite expensive and there are options for how to disguise an opening in a tile with your own hands. One of them is the installation of a metal frame to fit the window in a false wall, after which drywall is screwed to it and tiles are glued to the top.
