Distinctive features
- Increases the life of the flooring due to the circulation of air and moisture;
- The fibrous structure guarantees the stability of acoustic performance throughout the entire service life;
- Acoustically efficient (under 8mm laminate - 20dB) and environmentally friendly.
The price of the Akuflex underlay is much lower than that of Shumanet-100Combi and Shumanet-100Hydro, which have additional waterproofing, so its use is advisable in floors that do not need protection against water penetration.

How to lay Akuflex Super?
Initially, you need to carefully sweep the floor base to prevent construction debris from getting between the base and Akuflex SUPER. We roll out the Akuflex SUPER material and cut it in such a way that it would not only completely cover the floor area, but also bring the material onto the walls at least 2-3 cm above the level of the planned screed thickness. The fiberglass backing of the material must face down and the edges must overlap. Each roll has a bituminous waterproofing layer with a width of about 10 cm at one end. Also, it is necessary to bring the edges of the material onto walls or columns above the level of the planned screed. This is necessary to avoid hard contact between other building structures and the screed. If necessary, Acuflex SUPER is fixed with a self-adhesive bituminous tape or a bituminous overlap is fixed on the wall with a building hair dryer to prevent shifting during the installation of the screed. The joints between the sheets of material are glued with a building hair dryer by softening the bitumen. After the screed is installed, the edge of the material remains on the column (wall) at a height of 10 cm. In the places of corners, doorways, internal communications, pipe outlets and other elements of the arrangement of the room, it is necessary to provide for wrapping these elements with Akuflex super material. With the help of a building hair dryer or bituminous self-adhesive tape, the Akuflex Super material is circled around the protruding element. After laying the Akuflex Super material, a cement-sand screed 6 cm thick is poured from ready-mixed concrete or sand concrete of the M-300 grade. The screed must be reinforced with a metal mesh with a bar diameter of 4 mm and a cell size of 50 x 50 mm. The mesh should be located in the screed layer no higher than the middle line of the screed and no lower than 2 cm from its lower level. The mesh is laid with an overlap of joints of 10 cm, and every 20 cm they are tied with a knitting wire. Using a rail, the surface of the solution is leveled. If the floor surface area is large, then the leveling screed is performed in areas up to 30 m2 with the necessary expansion joints.
